Applying the Reverse Engineering Process to Print
Translating a design to a printed piece requires an experienced and knowledgeable team guiding the project through the maze of specifications and options. By considering the vendor and distribution before sending a project to print we are naturally able to increase quality and efficiency. For example, different vendors use different press sizes and different sheet sizes. Unknowingly sending a job to the wrong printer can result in higher costs.
Before a project is sent to print, we perform a tailored review and quality check of the files, called a preflight. Through preflighting, we confirm that your files are in sync with the capabilities of the selected printer and distribution channels; avoiding needless extra time and fees spent on multiple file corrections and submissions.
